Top 5 Personal Finance Apps on Android in Qatar Q3 2023

During the third quarter of 2023, several personal finance budgeting and planning apps on the Android platform in Qatar showed notable performance trends. Below, we explore the weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics for the top five apps in this category.

Debito Passbook saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting from 356 at the end of June and peaking at 793 in the first week of September. The app maintained a steady download rate around the 500 mark for the rest of the quarter. Despite the consistent download numbers, Debito Passbook did not generate any revenue during this period.

Splitwise experienced a gradual rise in weekly revenue, reaching a high of $42 in the weeks of August 21 and September 18. Downloads fluctuated throughout the quarter, peaking at 295 in the last week of July. Active user numbers showed a steady increase, climbing from 1.2K at the end of June to approximately 1.6K by the end of August.

Cash Book- daily expenses demonstrated a consistent upward trend in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads reached a high of 268 in the last week of July and maintained similar levels throughout the quarter. Active users also grew steadily, starting at 510 in the last week of June and hitting a peak of 943 by the end of September.

Tamweel App showed a significant increase in downloads after its release in late July. Downloads peaked at 842 in the first week of September and then gradually decreased to 418 by the end of the month. Despite the high download numbers, the app did not generate any revenue during this period.

Bank Balance Check experienced a fluctuating download trend, starting at 136 at the end of June and peaking at 187 in the last week of July. Downloads gradually declined towards the end of the quarter, reaching a low of 61 in mid-September. Similar to Debito Passbook and Tamweel App, Bank Balance Check did not generate any revenue during this period.
